Tra ricerca, moda e tecnologia.
The Italian Cultural Institute, in collaboration with Bini Gallery, presents “Gioielli all’italiana. Tra ricerca, moda e tecnologia”, a group exhibition by contemporary Italian jewellers. The exhibition features 20 pieces including works by Michela Boschetto, Lucia Davanzo, Stefania Lucchetta, Giulia Savino, Chiara Scarpitti, Marina and Susanna Sent, Elena Valenti, Alberta Vitaby, established and young talented jewellers, with disparate backgrounds and aesthetic. These makers/artists investigate a new kind of contemporary jewellery as the intersection point between craftsmanship and industry, humanity and technology. They represent the vast and diverse Italian contemporary jewellery making practise; their techniques range from traditional goldsmithing to fashion related craftsmanship to metal 3D printing.
