The exhibition “Piergiorgio Zangara. Artista Madi” (2nd May-25th May 2017) curated by Art historian Cristina Costanzo, pays homage to Piergiorgio Zangara (Palermo, 1943), coherent and original artist who’s been active in Italy and abroad for the last 50 years with the concrete art movements including MADI (acronym of MAterialism DIalectical that refers also to non-sense and casualness).
The artist will be attending the opening of the exhibition at the presence of the Consul General Marco Maria Cerbo, acting Director of the IIC. On the occasion there will be the launch of “Piergiorgio Zangara. Madi artist” (Contesti, 2016) the first monograph on the artist written by Cristina Costanzo.
