On Saturday, 12 October 2024, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Australia (Victoria and Tasmania) hosted the Italian Business Awards Gala, a highlight of the year for the Italian-Australian business community.

Held at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, the event brought together nearly 450 guests, including entrepreneurs, institutional representatives, and prominent figures from the economic and cultural spheres.

The evening celebrated the excellence of Italian business, recognizing companies and individuals whose vision and commitment continue to deepen the commercial ties between Italy and Australia.

Guests enjoyed an exhibition showcasing the finest of Made in Italy—from artisanal crafts to technological innovations—reinforcing the global reputation of Italian design and quality.

The awards ceremony included messages from distinguished speakers, such as the Italian Ambassador to Canberra, H.E. Paolo Crudele, via video, and the Consul General of Italy in Melbourne, Chiara Mauri. The program also featured live jazz, organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Melbourne, with performances by artists Nina Ferro, Monique Di Mattina, Michael Tortoni, and Gideon Marcus.
