b-r-u-n-o EDITORE IN MELBOURNE

The Italian Cultural Institute of Melbourne, in collaboration with Monash University and NGV, is pleased to announce that Andrea Codolo and Giacomo Covacich, founders of publishing house b-r-u-n-o, have been invited to present their work to the Melbourne public through a series of exciting events this May, in order to share and promote the creativity and talent of the Italian editorial scene:

  • May 13th-14th: Monash Student Workshop by invitation of Professor Warren Taylor, with selected students. A small volume presenting b-r-u-no’s work will be created with the students, a projects that has also seen the participation of students from ISIA Urbino. The volume will function as a guide for design students and will be distributed during the Melbourne Art Book Fair and during the Monash Talk.

  • May 21st, 12:30 PM-1:30 PM: Monash Talk with the participation of Professor Warren Taylor, with students from Monash University. b-r-u-n-o’s work will be presented to the students and interested professionals.

Founded in Venice in 2013 as a design-focused project and expanded in 2014 as a publishing house, b-r-u-n-o has made of the visual arts his primary identity.  b-r-u-n-o focuses on projects concerning visual identities, expositions, information designs and data visualizations, in collaboration with institutions, cultural foundations and private clients. It combines element of a graphic design studio, an exhibition space and a specialist book store, focused on visual communication and international independent publishers.
