Re-generation. Design and new technologies for a sustainable future.
The subject of the sixth edition of Italian design day in the world focuses on the evolution of design within a dynamic and globalized world that knows no boundaries and that needs to regenerate in order to become sustainable, reflecting on the challenge to which the design is called upon to respond: to promote an ecological transition in our lifestyles, which knows how to combine functionality and well-being and reduce the environmental impact, making use of technological innovation.
For this 2022 edition, the Italian Cultural Institute of Melbourne has invited Map studio of Venice, Trudy Pelzel and Francesco Magnani, creators of the Lightcatcher in Melbourne.
