Documentary on the capital of Yemen, an extraordinary artistic heritage that runs the risk of being irreparably erased by reckless modern urban development: an appeal to Unesco.

“I was too keen on shooting this document. It may be a matter of a professional deformation, but I felt Sana’a’s problems as my own. The disfigurement, which like a leprosy is invading her, hurt me with pain, anger, a sense of helplessness and at the same time a feverish desire to do something, from which I was peremptorily compelled to film.” (Pier Paolo Pasolini)
