Showcasing Italy and the Italian taste in the world, the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is a yearly initiative developed to promote Italian culinary traditions and food-and-wine connoisseurship as a distinctive trait of Italian identity and culture.
The theme for the 6th edition (November 22nd-28th, 2021) is Tradition and perspectives of Italian cuisine: awareness and enhancement of food sustainability.
Sustainable diet and culture with children
A video that tells the Chef Trek Jr. project, a cooking lab for young budding chefs led by chef Renato Bernardi. Through this special tour from Rome to the Castelli Romani, between culture and sustainable cuisine, chef Bernardi teaches children the importance of the Mediterranean diet, zero-mile shopping and its connection with the Italian cultural heritage.
