Luigi got a degree in foreign languages in the twentieth century. After a few years as a middle school teacher, he decided to start studying and working in Australia. He lives in Melbourne where he has been teaching Italian and German for 12 years. Yet, he has never lost touch with his beloved city, Brescia. As a matter of fact, he likes spending Christmas with his Italian family, in the cold, rather than by the beach. He has published a book on the picaresque novel and academic articles on a variety of literary topics. These 18+1 short stories are his first narrative feat.
