Documentary inspired by the novel “Ragazzi di vita” by Pier Paolo Pasolini, set on one of the many streams that flow into the Tiber, the Marane, where the children of the 60s from the Roman suburbs meet to play and spend the hottest moments of summer.

“For me, “La canta delle marane” is an anticipated testament of Pier Paolo. We clearly understand his desire to be annexed to the world of the suburbs, to have the “citizenship” of a boy of life; regrets the joy and anti-authoritarian instincts of that world ”. (Cecilia Mangini)
