Mystical Love in the Heart of Medieval Italy (1): St Francis and his Canticle of Brother Sun

18th Week of the Italian Language in the World (15th-21st October). Under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic of Italy.

The first lecture of "Mystical Love in the Heart of Medieval Italy: St Francis and his Canticle of Brother Sun" is presented by Prof. Rodney John Lokaj, associate professor at Kore University of Enna, who will guide his audience on a pilgrimage of discovery of medieval Umbria and Franciscan mysticism by analysing the earkly Italian poem the Canticle of Brother Sun

The poetry will be discussed in the original language with English translations available.

The lecture will be in English.

Light refreshments will be served after the lecture.
