14th Brunswick Beethoven Festival

The 14th Brunswick Beethoven Festival will take place between 4 Feb to 10 Feb and 17 Feb and 22 February 2020 in Brunswick.

The Brunswick Beethoven Festival brings together internationally acclaimed performers for a festival of the finest classical chamber music in Brunswick, inner Melbourne - and for the lowest prices so that everybody can afford to come and hear these exceptional artists playing the great classical composers Beethoven – huge this year -, Bach, Mozart, Handel, Paganini, Brahms, San-Saens, and more.

As part of the Festival visiting Italian acclaimed performers will play in 4 of the first 6 concerts making up Part 1 of this years festival.

3 internationally recognized stars from Italy including Massimo Scattolin classical guitarist, Elisabetta Ghebbioni harpist and sensational 22 year old violinist from Treviso who has been judged Italy's finest, Paolo Tagliamento will perform at this years festival. Sergio de Pieri, a famous organist and Artistic Director of the Festival, will perform Bach's Well Tempered Klavier at Christ Church Brunswick.

Paolo Tagliamento will perform with Massimo Scattolin in the opening concert of the Festival on Tuesday 4 Feb and again on Saturday 8 February with pianist Anthony Halliday at Tempo Rubato, a new performance space in Brunswick located in a converted warehouse in Breese St and with young people very much in mind.

The Festival program lists 12 concerts in 2 parts with some of the finest international and Australian internationally recognized performers taking part.

Local Australian internationally acclaimed artists include Seraphim Trio, Plexus, Elyane Laussade and Luke Severn, Anthony Halliday, John O'Donnell, Joe Chindamo, Firebird Trio and a fantastic new string quartet of brilliant young women the Invictus Quartet.
