The Italian Cultural Institute proudly presents the Seminar “Inequalities: Design for a Better Life”.
In the year of the XXIV International Exhibition of Triennale Milano, the Italian Design Day 2025 embraces its theme to highlight a defining feature of Italian design: working to create a better life, reduce inequalities, value differences, and improve access to individual and collective well-being.
Italian Design Day is an initiative by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, launched in 2017. It serves as an effective tool in promoting design and supporting the internationalization of a strategic industrial sector for Italian exports.
The seminar, taking place on April 28, will combine the IX Italian Design Day theme with Made in Italy Day, a National Day that celebrates creativity and excellence by promoting the value and quality of Italian ingenuity and creations.
Keynote speakers: Arch. Alfonso Femia, Arch. Mauro Baracco and Arch. Louise Wright, Arch. Rob McGauran, and AIA Victorian Chapter Executive Director Daniel Moore. Moderated by Arch. Giorgio Marfella.
The seminar will be held on April 28, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Malaysian Lecture Theatre – Melbourne School of Design (MSD).
