Interviewed by the historian Francesco Savio, Pasolini talks about his penultimate film, The Flower of the Thousand and One Nights (1974), the meaning of the films in the Trilogy of Life, the “physical” fragility of cinema and his own protest against the Present, against the “False tolerance” and the “false permissiveness” of the consumer society.
