The Campiello Foundation announces the 27th edition of the Campiello Junior Prize, a literary award reserved to young people aged between 15 and 22, residing in Italy and abroad,
The finalists will receive a selection of books and an invitation to the Campiello Prize award ceremony. The winner, on the other hand, will be entitled to a two-week study holiday in a European country.
Special recognitions
Two special mentions will be awarded: one to a story that deals with issues related to environmental and/or social sustainability and one to a travel-themed story.
This year there will be also a special mention for young entrepreneurs, aimed at rewarding the best story that, through the protagonists or the setting, describes and narrates the business culture, in particular that of young people or women.
How to participate
Young people residing in Italy and abroad can participate in the competition, with a story written in Italian with a minimum length of 10 and a maximum of 20 pages. It is possible to participate with only one work, and collective works are not allowed.
Stories must be received anonymously and must be sent both in electronic and paper format.
The deadline for the arrival of the stories, both in electronic and paper format, is January 13, 2022.
