On Friday 7 June, Italy will celebrate the recent inscription of the Art of Opera Singing in the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list with a special event at the Arena di Verona.
The concert, realised by the Italian Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Arena di Verona Foundation and RAI, will gather some of the best international opera singers on the same stage.
The program will retrace some of the best-known pages of opera production. The show will feature the participation of Maestro Riccardo Muti and will be accompanied by the performance of the dancers Roberto Bolle and Nicoletta Manni. Several narrators, including Alberto Angela, will introduce the audience to the event.
RAI 1 will broadcast it live worldwide from 11:35 p.m. (Australian time) on 7 June. For the occasion, RAIPLAY’s signal will be accessible worldwide.
