In collaboration with the Byron Writers Festival 2019, the IIC Melbourne is pleased to present Italian writer Gianrico Carofiglio at Elm Tree House interviewed by Kylie Doust, Graduate Researcher at La Trobe University.
The talk will be conducted in English.
Carofiglio was born in Bari in 1961 and worked for many years as a prosecutor specialising in organised crime. He was appointed advisor of the anti-Mafia committee in the Italian parliament in 2007 and served as a senator from 2008 to 2013.
He is one of Italy’s bestselling authors: his books have sold more than five million copies in Italy and have been translated into twenty-seven languages. His latest novel is The Cold Summer.
