A 5% Early bird enrolment discount is available to those students who enroll in Term III 2026 (13 July – 18 September) before the 30th of June 2026.
Please note that current IIC financial members can combine their current membership discount and save up to a whopping $75 when enrolling by the early bird deadline
Registrations
All courses have a standard duration of 20 hours, over 10 weeks, provided that the minimum number of enrolments is reached (6 students per course, with a maximum of 9 students).
Courses could also be activated with a lower number of enrolments. In this case, the course duration will be reduced as follows: 5 students: 18 hours over 9 weeks; 4 students: 16 hours over 8 weeks.
Note:
- No discounts on tuition fees will be granted to students who are unable to attend all lessons of a course.
- Enrolments after the course start date are permitted with a 10% discount on the full fee.
Entrance Tests
With the exception of complete beginners, students who have already studied Italian and wish to enrol in a higher level must undergo a short entrance test to determine which course is most suitable for their level. Complete the self-assessment test here.
Test di autovalutazione
Note: The self-assessment test is only indicative. To determine your exact level, the IIC offers a one-hour evaluation with a qualified teacher at the cost of $80.
Refunds
Registration fees will be refunded in full if the course is cancelled due to an insufficient number of registrations. Once the course has started, fees cannot be refunded or transferred to another course. The Institute cannot be held responsible for any changes in the student’s personal circumstances.
Rescheduling of Lessons
Under exceptional circumstances – usually related to cultural events at the Institute – the Institute reserves the right to change the day and time of some lessons based on the needs of students and teachers.
